RUHAKU is the first organic anti-aging skincare brand from Okinawa, using the unique anti-oxydant powers of the Gettou leaves.

Ruhaku was founded by Mr.Masahiro Sugita who wanted to create skincare products that would relieve his wife Yoko’s tired skin and stressful working life. On a trip to Okinawa, Japan’s southernmost island, Mr. Sugita discovered the benefits of gettou, the antioxidant and antibacterial properties of which have led to its use in the region as herbs in cooking and medicine. 

In 2009, Sugita began to create the most natural beauty products possible, containing no unnecessary chemicals,hence the birth of the production of organic cosmetics with the French certification Ecocert.
